As Managing Partner of Lakeside Partners GmbH, I am pleased to announce that our Burnout Management course (available in person or online) has now been officially accredited as an Executive Short Course by the prestigious University of Buckingham, the UK's leading private university. It can also be completed as a CPD (Continuous Professional Accreditation) course.

This high-quality course is designed as a three-hour in-person session or a one-day (six-hour) workshop and can be delivered by me at your company, online, in small groups, or as individual coaching. Online materials will then support you and your team in consolidating what you have learned. Watch one of our videos (right) for a short preview.

Why invest in a short course? Because research identifies the fact that burnout training can seriously improve burnout outcomes for individuals (improving the quality of our physical & mental health, family & work based relationships, and overall quality of life), alongside reducing the major financial costs of burnout. And those costs are huge!

In fact, according to recent estimates, burnout currently costs U.S. businesses $322 billion yearly in lost productivity, alongside $125-190 billion in healthcare expenses, per World Health Organization estimates cited in 2025 reports. A computational model pegs per-employee costs at $3,999 for hourly non-managers, $4,257 for salaried non-managers, $10,824 for managers, and $20,683 for executives, leading to $5 million annual losses for a typical 1,000-employee U.S. firm. Broader global impacts include $1 trillion in lost productivity from related depression and anxiety.
